SMNT are a business focued on building both bespoke and generic applications for retail based businesses.

With many years experience both working directly in retail and retail IT environments, we bring the best of what we've learnt from accross the industry into one place. Developing scalable products from dynamic EPoS suites to workforce management tools, creating applications that make your business work effeciently and effectively is our passion. We provide products and services for all sizes of retails, believing that any retailer no matter what size should be able to benefit from the full scope of modern retail IT systems.

What are we up to at the moment?

At SMNT, we are continually trying develop and bring to market new and improved tools. We believe in developing simple but effective applications, avoiding the needless complexity that we frequently see accross the industry.

Currently we have two main products we are developing. SPoS is a browser based EPoS suite for use in Google Chrome and Chromium browsers. Although this isn't an industry first, current products lack some of the basic functionality you would expect and tend to have user interfaces that are not optimised for effecicent operation. Developing EPoS for in a browser gives us the ability to port the applicaltion to nearly any device, creating a very flexible tool great for todays agile retailers.

Tempus is a workforce management application, allowing for the creation and management of staff and rotas in any size organisation. Tempus then harnesses the data created from the rotas and shfits and provides a comprehensive reporting and intelligence tools, providing clear insight into how staff hours are distrubuted and automatically flagging up potentnial problems are concerns.
